About Us

Reality Break started in the confines of a local news station in south Georgia. A simple idea voiced by producers, editors, and camera operators wanting to share some time together, being silly, while in between shows. It grew into a beloved pastime, branching outside of work and into the daily lives of everyone involved. We added friends, built stories, grew and cried together, and became a family.

Together, we’ve been playing Dungeons & Dragons for 3 years, with many more to come.

Meet the Team

  • Jacob Johnson

    DUNGEON MASTER

    With a background in theater and news production, Jacob has a brilliant mind, built for weaving exciting adventures and colorful worlds. He is our rock, and our light. The energy etched into every story of his home-brewed campaigns is matched only by the energy of the players that bring them to life. You can always find him somewhere fighting with Audrey.

  • Vienne Borg

    PLAYER, PRODUCER

    The first to pick up the Dungeon Master’s Rule Book, Vienne kicked off the idea for group sessions in the work breakroom. Transitioning from DM to player, she found a love for storytelling through deep character work and strong relationships between players (romantic or otherwise). Her only goal is to make everyone at the table cry at least once.

  • Jalan Hughes

    PLAYER

    Wherever Jay is, a song isn’t too far behind. With a heart of gold and the ability to make anyone feel like family, Jay is a key element to the table. He brings a sense of wonder, kindness, and joy to any adventure. When not playing DND, he enjoys watching movies, reading, and playing video games.

  • Elizabeth Ortega

    PLAYER

    Liz brings an unmatched vibe to the table, both deadly serious and extremely silly, with no in between. Her characters bring out emotional experiences for every player and she has the ability to both shock you and have you falling on the floor in laughter.

  • Lindsey Dobbs

    PLAYER

    Lindsey is strong willed and smart. Her characters have an edge to them but are often easy to love. When she’s not playing DND, she’s on a run, or nose deep in a book with a mason jar of wine near-by. Vienne is hopelessly in love with her :)

  • Audrey Harrison

    PLAYER

    Joining the group thanks to a long-time friendship with Jacob, Audrey brings a lighthearted laughter to every session. Though stubborn, and always ready to defend her actions, Audrey’s attitude is always positive, no matter the monster thrown our way. Her favorite pastime is arguing with Jacob.

  • Cora Marin

    PLAYER, EDITOR

    Cora is the mastermind behind most of our amazing videos. She is known to play lively characters with a blend of silly and seriousness. While she is an excellent editor and filmmaker, she is also voted unanimously as “most likely to read her character sheet wrong”.

  • Grace Miller

    PLAYER

    Grace brings an unrivaled passion to the table. Her characters have a sassy, unforgettable energy, and she’s always ready to jump up and take control at a moment’s notice. When not playing DND, you’ll find her studying hard for her masters or in the dance studio.

  • Lars Smallwood

    EDITOR

    Dragged into the world of Dungeons & Dragons by his girlfriend, Vienne, Lars kindly provides his editing skills to the table. While not a player in this campaign, he is the visionary that sits beside Cora to help bring our stories to your screens. When not editing, he’s watching movies, rocking out at concerts, and playing the guitar.
